With each passing day, new information regarding Samsung's first ever smart watch (a result of the industry's new push in wearable computing) trickles out, leaving us hungry for more. The latest news about the Galaxy Gear is that it will pack a powerful dual-core SoC.
To be more specific, we might find a 1.5 GHz dual-core Exynos 4212 SoC (ARM Cortex A9) inside the Samsung branded smart watch. More specifications include a 1.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 320 x 320, 1 GB of RAM, ARM Mali-400MP4 quad-core GPU, Bluetooth and NFC connectivity and a 2 megapixel front facing camera as well, making this device quite the powerhouse.
Samsung is expected to take the wraps of several new devices such as the Galaxy Note III and the Galaxy Gear at the company's Unpacked 2 event scheduled for September at Berlin, right before the commencement of IFA 2013.
