China Bound Sony Honami Variant Scores Big In AnTuTu Benchmark

While Sony will officially take the wraps off Honami on September 4th, the company doesn't want a huge delay between the announcement of the device and its actual availability in the market (good move Sony). And perhaps that is why we have this leaked benchmark score today that belongs to the China-bound version of Sony's upcoming flagship Honami, now known as the Sony Xperia Z1.

Analysizing the score, Honami just manages to break the 30,000 limit, making it one of the fastest phones on the planet. Mind you, the Xperia Z Ultra scores nearly 33,000 in the same benchmark, but that's a 6.44-inch phablet and this one's a 5-inch Smartphone. There's thermal constraints to worry about. Thankfully, despite an all powerful quad-core Snapdragon 800 SoC chugging away at its core, we wouldn't have to worry about the device's endurance thanks to the large 3,000 mAh battery.
