Windows Phone 8 GDR3 Update To Bring Notification Center?

A new report suggests that the next update for Windows Phone 8, dubbed the GDR3 update from Microsoft, will introduce a notifications center to the mobile OS, at long last. If this report is a 100% accurate, WP8 users have a very good reason to cheer about. Notifications center has been sorely missed on Microsoft's platform, and the company's refusal to include it till now is simply unacceptable. Thankfully, it looks like they are finally working towards providing a feature that is almost taken granted for in a Smartphone, be it iOS or Android or even Nokia Asha OS for that matter (for feature phones).

About a month and a half ago, we had heard a similar rumor that a notifications center is headed for WP8. That the topic has resurfaced adds to to its credibility. Even then, readers are advised to take this with two grains (perhaps a couple more) of salt, and that WP8 users shouldn't expect to see this feature on their devices before the end of this year, or the first half of 2014.
