A new Motorola Droid is probably the last thing we want to see or hear about right now, but that doesn't stop Motorola from working on one. New images leaked earlier today suggests that the Google owned company is working on a new Motorola Droid 5 with a slide-out QWERTY keypad. Yeah, such phones still do exist (some people prefer a physical keyboard to a large 5" or 6" display).
The images reveal a Verizon 4G (obviously) branded Droid 5 with a 5-row keyboard neatly tucked away in a QWERTY slider. Going by the pictures, the phone looks to be about 4.3 to 4.5-inches diagonal (display size), and boy does it look bulky. Expect a near 200 gram weight of this device, if it does end up launching in the US sometime later this year.
