DigiTimes claimed that Microsoft is working on a new Surface product that is scheduled for release in the third quarter of the year. To expand its offering, Microsoft plans to launch an all-in-one system, which pushed back the release of its second-gen Surface Book to 2017.
Now, another report claims that all-in-one Surface will be offered in three sizes - the smallest with a 21-inch 1080p display, followed by a 24-inch 4K, while the top offering would be a 27-inch 4K model. The company is still testing all three devices and there is no confirmation if all three devices will be launched.
The report also adds that the second generation Surface Book has one key design improvement. Microsoft has found a way to fix the gap in the hinge, something that was bothering almost all users and reviewers.
