Nokia's large screen budget device, the first of its kind, has now landed in the UK after it was launched in the Indian subcontinent earlier this week. Bearing an affordable price tag of £240, the buyer gets treated to a large 4.7-inch WVGA (800 x 480) display device that bears much resemblance to its tinier sibling, the Lumia 620. Apart from the display size, most of the features remain the same, down to the camera (5 megapixel), processor (1.2 GHz dual core Krait), RAM (512 MB) and internal storage as well. Mind you, this 5 MP unit is capable of 1080p video recording, a major jump over the 720p HD video recording offered by the smaller device. You do get a larger 2,000 mAh battery on this one, a big upgrade over the mediocre battery found in the Lumia 620.
As with all Lumia devices, prospect buyers have to choose between the following colors - Black, White, Yellow or Green - whichever fits their bill. Now that two major markets have got the device, it is only a while before markets across the globe get treated to the Nokia Lumia 625. Speaking of which, do you fancy a large screen Lumia for cheap?
