A premium version of Microsoft's Outlook email service has launched as a preview, providing an ad-free experience and the ability to use a custom domain. Outlook.com Premium's preview is available in the United States. For now, it costs $20, though the regular annual price will be $50.
Outlook Premium lets you create up to five custom domain email addresses using new or existing domains. If the domain is new, you can buy it through Microsoft's platform, which will increase your yearly charge.
Microsoft hasn't said when the service will expand beyond its preview.
