Last June, Havok announced that they would be creating an end-to-end game engine and toolset which featured the full suite of Havok software, and would be making it available free to developers working on mobile games. They kept their promise and released the beta.
The project includes a free license for developers to create and ship their games on iOS, Android and the Tizen platforms, and the standard package includes the Havok software, source code access, support via the portal, and more.
They will also be making a pro version available that includes more support and the ability for developers to ship on platforms such as Windows Phone or the Xbox 360.
