Chinese phone maker Huawei has launched a new Smartphone in their native country. Dubbed the Honor 3 whose existence was confirmed in a leak from last week, the said device is a China exclusive as of yet and is a quad-core value oriented Smartphone that also happens to be waterproof. A trend that began with the Sony Xperia Z, almost every major OEM is now offering waterproof devices, and so is Huawei with their new Honor 3.
Apart from its IP57 certification, the Huawei Honor 3 sports a 4.7-inch HD (1280 x 720) IPS LCD display, 1.5 GHz quad-core Huawei K3V2E SoC, 2 GB of RAM, a 13 megapixel Sony rear camera, 1.3 MP front shooter, 2,150 mAh battery and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Huawei's Emotion UI overlay.
The Huawei Honor 3 is already available for purchase via the company's online store for CNY 1,888, roughly $300.
