Hisense Pulse Google TV Box Starts Selling

Hisense Pulse, the sub-$100 Google TV set-top box that was first spotted at IFA Berlin, is now available on Amazon for $99.99. The device missed its market release date by a month. The device allows you to "smarten" your old not-so-bright TVs with Google TV, access to TV apps, the wealth of apps, music, movies, and e-books from Google Play, and of course web essentials such as a web-browser.

One of its USPs is its remote, which in addition to the essentials and shortcut buttons to services like YouTube, Netflix, etc., gives you voice-control, a trackpad, and a QWERTY keyboard. The device connects to your TV/HTR by HDMI, connects to the web via Ethernet, and connects to external storage devices via two USB 2.0 ports.
