Xiaomi, a popular Chinese phone maker known for pricing their flagship devices which pack cutting-edge technology and then pricing their phones at rock-bottom, almost BOM prices. This is what makes their next-flagship, the Xiaomi Mi3, so interesting. While people living outside of China are very unlikely to ever see the device (unless they get it imported), the Mi3 might feature specifications and tech that only the highest-end $700 devices pack, but will still cost about half (or less than half) the cost.
The Mi3 is confirmed to pack NVIDIA's Tegra 4 SoC, and earlier today, GSMArena compared the benchmark results of the chipset with the rest of the crowd. Running on Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean, Tegra 4 simply doesn't impress when compared to the older Exynos 5 Octa and Snapdragon 600, leave alone the Snapdragon 800 beast. Anyhow, here are the benchmarks:
