Sony Working On Consumer-Friendly 4K Video Camera

A new photo leaked by B&H Photo has revealed the existence of yet another Sony product. This one too is related to photo and video, or more specifically, shooting videos. For those who want to get themselves a 4K video camera but don't want the professional models, don't worry, the Japs have got you covered.

Apart from just a leaked image, the Sony FDR-AX1, the leader of the wolf pack, is capable of shooting video at 4K (3840 x 2160) at 60FPS. There's a BSI 8.3 megapixel Sony Exmor R CMOS sensor and some high-quality audio recording gear integrated into it. You have the Sony HDR-AS30V which cannot record 4K footage, but does capture 1080p at 60FPS, or 720p at 120FPS, whichever you like.

Both devices are expected to be present in Sony's booth at IFA 2013.
