ZTE has teased an Android Wear smartwatch with LTE connectivity that'll launch later this year. CEO of ZTE USA, Lixin Cheng, revealed in an interview that the company is finishing the wearable's development and it already has a US carrier partnership for when the product is ready.
The smartwatch will be one of a relatively small number of wearables to come with LTE support. You can accomplish more with an LTE-enabled wearable since it needn't be connected to a phone for many of its features.
Given Android Wear 2.0 will launch in the coming months, the ZTE smartwatch may be running it.
