When Sony launched the Xperia Z Ultra phablet, it made many people both happy but disappointed. The happy part came thanks to a deliciously large and beautiful display all packed in a 6.5mm slim body. The disappointment? Well, such a big device, such a small battery. To power a 6.44-inch 1080p panel and a 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 SoC, a 3,000 mAh battery is simply too small, but Sony went ahead and sacrificed battery life for attaining that enviable slim form factor. Either way, GSMArena's battery test results prove one thing, you can go on talking to your buddies for hours but will have enough juice left to last the day. Meanwhile, web browsing will kill the device in a little over 5 hours.
