According to latest report from KGI's Ming-Chi Kuo, the upcoming iPhone 8 with OLED panel will have the same physical size as the 4.7-inch iPhone 7, but a much bigger battery. The smartphone is expected to have a battery capacity of around 2,700 mAh, which is a big jump from iPhone 7's 1,960 mAh.
This was achieved through the use of a stacked "substrate-like" PCB mainboard, making the board smaller and freeing more space for the battery. While it will have a similar size, the iPhone 8 with OLED display will have a larger display as well. It is expected to pack a 5.2- to 5.5-inches display.
