If you read any Galaxy S8 article over the last few weeks, you probably heard that Samsung has first dibs on the Snapdragon 835 chipset. That has forced many companies to switch back to last year's flagship Snapdragon 821 model, including LG. Some companies decided to launch their phones later, but include the Snapdragon 835.
Recent rumours were pointing out that Xiaomi dropped the Snapdragon 835 in favor of its predecessor, but that seems to be a false information. New details reveal that the phone will launch on April 16 and the heart of the phone will be the Qualcomm's fastest chipset, Snapdragon 835.
The only question is will Xiaomi have enough units available during the launch.
