Right after Motorola launched a trio of DROID 2013 Smartphones, a new leak revealed that the Google-owned company wasn't done with introducing new devices, yet. The Moto X came and we heard nothing about the Motorola DROID 5, until earlier today when it resurfaced, in all of its QWERTY keypad bearing glory.
Reported specifications aren't very impressive, in case you were looking for something out of the world. You get a 4.3-inch HD (1280 x 720) display, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus dual-core SoC, 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, none of which is going to give you, me, or any other geek a geek-gasm. The DROID 5 will also support NFC and wireless charging, but there's no water-proofing done on the new droid.
Stay tuned for more coverage on the DROID 5, which is expected to launch in the next couple of weeks.
