Samsung Exynos 5410 Might Also Get Software Update That Unleashes The 8-Core Inside

While Samsung and ARM have already showcased the new Exynos 5420 SoC in all its 8-core glory, people were left wondering whether the older Exynos 5410 Octa SoC that powers the Galaxy S4 flagship Smartphone will also be receiving a software update of a similar nature, which unleashes the beast within.

Turns out, heterogenous multi processing (HMP) mode might just make it to the older Exynos 5410 Octa chip after all via a software update later this year. This new report spells nothing but good news for Galaxy S4 owners, while the future Galaxy Note 3 and Meizu MX3 owners are already cheering and hooting, as their phones are already based on the newer Exynos 5420 chipset.
