HTC U To Support Bluetooth 5.0 Connectivity

Earlier today, HTC released a 5-second video, teasing its new flagship smartphone. Unfortunately, the video clip didn't give any new information besides the Edge Sense technology that lets you perform actions through squeezing the smartphone. Thanks to a listing on Bluetooth.org, we have now learned that HTC device with the model number STK-Q50-2PZC will also support the latest Bluetooth technology.

The new Bluetooth 5.0 guarantees four times wider range than the previous Bluetooth 4.2 version along with twice the data transfer speed, while also connecting two sets of wireless devices at the same time. The only handset that currently supports the new Bluetooth 5.0 is Samsung Galaxy S8, so HTC U will be the second one.
