It's been a while since any new Windows Phone 8 powered devices have been announced, apart from Microsoft-owned Nokia of course. Except for the Lumia phones, we don't hear much about WP8 anyway. But Samsung wants to give the mid-range another shot with a new device. Codenamed Samsung SGH-i187, this value oriented device passed through the doors of the FCC earlier today, and is headed for our (not-so) beloved AT&T network. Buyers will be pleased to know that despite being a mid-range device, it packs a 720p display and a dual-core Snapdragon 400 SoC.
