Square Enix has announced that an expansion for Final Fantasy XI Online will become available on March 26, 2013. The expansion will include new areas to explore and develop as well as new jobs to work at while fighting lots of new beasts and monsters.

The expansion is called Seekers of Adoulin and will feature new gameplay systems like player built outposts, special power spots for character upgrades and contract work. Two new jobs, the Geomancer and Rune Fenders will also be added to the game.

The game will be available for both the Windows PC platform and the Xbox 360. In addition there will be a Final Fantasy XI: Ultimate Collection Seekers Edition which will include the full stand-alone game and four previously released expansions plus three addition scenarios and three battle areas. The expansion and the collector's edition will sell for $29.99 and $39.99 respectively.
