HTC's flagship smartphone can now officially be purchased in the United States. The HTC U11 comes in three colors, blue, black and silver, and an unlocked version will cost you $649. If you don't mind having a contract, Sprint is currently the only carrier that is offering the handset for now.
The handset is unique in the sense that its frame is touch-sensitive, and depending on how hard you squeeze it, the handset activates certain features. Whether that will be enough, alongside high-end specifications, to be the best smartphone in 2017 is hard to tell.
