Lenovo's Retro ThinkPad Leaks In New Renders, Specs Also Revealed

Back in June, Lenovo announced that it has been working on a new ThinkPad model to celebrate 25 years of the brand. Other than that, the company didn't reveal anything, but we had a chance to see some pictures and today another set of images have leaked online, alongside specifications.

Lenovo ThinkPad 25 Anniversary Edition is based on the ThinkPad T470. Many key parts are the same, so it should have the same ports, weight and dimensions.

The model comes with a 14-inch 1080p touchscreen that has 16:9 aspect ratio and is powered by Intel Core i7-7500U, 16 GB of RAM, 512 GB SSD and NVIDIA GeForce 940MX.

The key difference is the old 7-row ThinkPad-keyboard with a blue enter key, a non-Chiclet keyboard with backlighting, a rubberized palmrest and a redesigned TrackPoint mouse-buttons. More images are available here.
