Aside from having iPhone X production issues, which have reportedly dropped under 10%, Apple is also having some serious issues with the iPhone 8 Plus units. After first reports about battery failures on new iPhone 8 Plus models, more units have started emerging online with the same problem.
According to MacRumors, there are at least two new different cases of iPhone 8 Plus models suffering from similar issues. One phone was replaced by a repair shop in Greece, and the other in Canada due to the exact same issue. No specifics were provided, but it is obvious that there are some problems with the battery.
Apple started an investigation about these issues, but it is staying quiet at the moment. Hopefully this won't be another Galaxy Note 7 scenario.
