What we thought was an isolated case appears to be a serious issue for Apple. After several reports of iPhone 8 Plus models with swollen batteries, more users around the world are reporting the same issue with their Apple iPhone 8 or 8 Plus smartphones.
Unlike Galaxy Note 7, the new iPhones do not explode. Instead, they just crack open due to a swollen battery. Some users received the phone in a swollen state in its retail box, while others say the battery swelled during charging. Either way, we'll have to wait a few more days/weeks before Apple officially release a statement.
