One of the first ever foldable smartphones, the ZTE Axon M, is going to become available next month and it will be sold in the United States. The handset comes with two displays that are separated by a hinge, making it a pretty straightforward design.
You can position the displays in a couple ways. They can be positioned next to each other to create a larger display or one can prop up the other in a "tent" mode. When put together, you're left with a 6.75-inch screen that may be useful for watching videos, playing certain games, or engaging with some apps.
The Axon M comes with a Snapdraogn 821 processor, 4 GB of RAM, and a 20-megapixel rear camera.
ZTE has verified the "top 100" Android apps will work with the display setup using Android's own split-screen capabilities.
It'll be sold through AT&T in the US.
