Kinect 2.0 Can Distinguish Between The Voice Of Two People At Once

A new YouTube video has revealed the extensive audio recognition capabilities of the Kinect 2.0, which will be bundled along with Microsoft's next-generation Xbox One game console. According to Nick Burton, the new Kinect 2.0 can distinguish between two voices, and do more than just that.

"It can not only hear two people speaking at once and understand two people speaking at once."

"It can also see if their mouths are moving in a completely dark room. And that allows us to do crazy levels of detail." - Nick Burton

In addition to these impressive features which have just recently come to light, the Kinect 2.0 sensor is capable of recognizing the player using the controller, detect 25 joints of up to 6 people at a time and even estimate the players' heart rates.
