No Galaxy S III Mini for U.S., Apple Stops Cribbing

Over the weekend, a significant development in the Apple vs. Samsung soap-opera transpired, which saw Samsung dropping plans to offer its 4-inch Galaxy S III Mini smartphone in the U.S. market, and in return, Apple agreeing to drop charges against the product in its latest update to its patent-infringement lawsuit against the Korean giant.

In late-November, Apple last updated its patent-infringement lawsuit against Samsung to include some its latest products, including the Galaxy S III Mini, Galaxy Note II, and the newest line of Galaxy Tabs. Before Samsung's announcement, Apple stated that its lawyers were able to purchase multiple quantities of the Galaxy S III Mini from Amazon's U.S. store, that's delivered to U.S. addresses. In all likelihood, these units may have been imports from Samsung's Europe availability of the phone.
