When Motorola first announced the Moto X, it left a lot of us who were expecting a Nexus 4 like device pricing utterly disappointed. Instead of a $349 contract-free price, we were all treated to a $299 (32 GB) price tag, and that is with a two-year contract. Meaning, you'd have to shell out $650 for this dual-core (nevertheless, a) beast. Thankfully, a couple of rumors and an official statement from Motorola soon after keeping our hopes alive to see a cheaper Moto X someday. Well, that someday might not be too far away after all.
Introducing the Motorola DVX, which is essentially the poor man's (us) Moto X. The icing on the cake is probably the four-color options for the backplate (not as many as Moto Maker, but hey, you can't have the best of both worlds).
Latest rumors put the Motorola DVX's contract-free pricing to be between $200-$300. In that case, we'd pick up not one, but two of these babies (one for our babe), you hear us Motorola?
