Apple Will No Longer Use Qualcomm Parts In Future Devices

Apple and Qualcomm are slowly becoming worst enemies. According to a new report from The Wall Street Journal, Apple has now made another move in the latest legal fight with Qualcomm by using components from other companies for next year's iPhones and iPads.

The Cupertino company will most likely order modem chips from Intel and MediaTek. The report also mentions that Qualcomm has been withholding software for testing in prototypes of Apple's flagship devices. Apple has three months before the launch of 2018 iPhones to decide on a modem manufacturer.
