A few months ago, Fitbit officially unveiled its first true smartwatch called Ionic and from what we are hearing now, that won't be the only smartwatch from the company. During an investors call in which Fitbit announced its Q3 earnings, the company's CEO James Park also said that a full product lineup of smartwatches that co-exist side by side is in the works.
It's too early to tell more about those smartwatches, but at least we know that Fitbit won't be offering just one smartwatch of some variants of it like the Adidas version.
As for the results for this quarter, Fitbit reported $392.5 million revenue in profit and shipped 3.6 million devices. Unfortunately, that's still a 32% drop year-on-year.
