GoPro Working On New Entry-Level Action Camera

After 2 years of struggling, GoPro posted its first quarterly profit during the third quarter of the year, with $15 million in net income. The biggest contributors to those numbers were the HERO 6 camera and Karma drone, but GoPro also believes there is more room on the market and is reportedly working on an entry-level action camera.

GoPro CEO Nick Woodman said that demand for the company's Session camera was higher than anticipated in 2017 and that the company might expand its market with a new entry-level product that will be released in 2018. Nothing else is currently known about the camera, but we'll keep you posted as new details come out.
