Samsung Takes 2nd Slot In 'Most Innovative Companies Of 2013' List, Replaces Google

Hello there! What do we have here? Turns out that world leaders in Smartphones, Samsung, as taken the second spot in a recently published 'Most innovative companies of 2013' list, which is compiled by Boston Consulting Group every year. Samsung managed to beat Google, or more accurately, steal the Mountain View company's second spot and rest right under Cupertino's champion, Apple (who have been in the number 1 position for nine years in a row now).

"Samsung has vaulted up the ranking in our survey from number 28 in 2008 to second place this year."

Interestingly, while Samsung gained 26 places between 2008 and 2013, home rivals LG hasn't fared equally well and are still stuck in 25th position. "This reputation has become global in recent years as the company has moved from innovative success to success," according to the consultancy firm's report.
