A few days ago, we have learned that suppliers of upcoming Galaxy Note 9 components in South Korea will start "providing components for a pilot production in the first quarter next year." With the Galaxy Note 8 officially out, Samsung has now shifted the focus on next-gen device.
The latest report is suggesting the next-gen Galaxy Note device is internally codenamed Crown. Not much is known about the new flagship phablet, but it is safe to say that it will be powered by Snapdragon 845 and new Exynos processor, depending on region. Before it becomes official, Samsung plans to announce Galaxy S9 and Galaxy A (2018) lineups.
