With each new version, internet browsers are becoming better, but those improvements are not so drastic to be visible to naked eye. However, the latest update from Mozilla is one of the biggest updates to the Firefox browser in years.
Firefox 57 Quantum is expected to launch today. It brings a new user interface, and a bunch of new tools that Mozilla calls Quantum, which make better use of multi-core processors. Mozilla says users can expect 2x better performance and 30% less memory usage.
There is also one major update to add-ons. Firefox 57 switches off support for legacy extensions and works only with those built using the standard WebExtension API.
