The newest obsession in the world of mobile technology is with fingerprint readers. Ever since we first heard rumors of Apple integrating a fingerprint scanner into their new iPhone 5S, pretty much every major OEM also cooked up a plan to introduce the feature in one of their very own future products. The iPhone 5S has arrived, and so has Fujitsu's Arrows Tablet which features a multi-user fingerprint reader. This has been achieved by clubbing the fingerprint reader's functionality with the multi-user feature natively found in Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
There's more to the tablet than just a scanner. You get a 2560 x 1600 LCD panel with Gorilla Glass 3, a 2.2 GHz Snapdragon 800 SoC, 8 MP rear and 1.3 MP front cameras, 64 GB of expandable storage and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Japanese carrier KDDI will reportedly sell an LTE enabled variant of the tablet in November this year.
