Apple began distributing the third update to iOS 7 that warrants a version number change, iOS 7.0.3, to some of its closest industry partners, and employees. The version addresses a few glaring bugs found with iMessage, and a few security updates that demand immediate release.
The iMessage bug first came to light earlier this week, which involves the app not sending text messages to the intended recipients. Another issue addressed involves iCloud, which randomly pops up on iPhone 5 upgraded to iOS 7. The third bug being addressed is "shy status bar," the status bar on the top randomly disappearing. The build being distributed to employees and close associates is marked "11B491."
Apple is expected to push iOS 7.0.3 to the general public in the week of 6th October, 2013.
