LG's odd aspect ratio packing Vu 3 phablet, with a 5.2-inch 1280 x 960 display (thanks to the 4:3 old TV box aspect ratio) was announced last month. Sadly, we haven't heard anything else about the device since then, until today when the first ever videos featuring the LG Vu 3 surfaced online.
One of the videos showcases LG's new KnockOn feature, which enables you to lock or unlock your device by simply double tapping the display. Then there's the dual shot camera feature, and finally a video giving you a comprehensive overlook at the camera UI for the 13 MP snapper. The Vu 3 is a mean machine, with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 SoC under the hood, 2 GB of RAM, LTE Advanced support and some accessory power in the form of translucent QuickWindow covers.
We are still waiting for the device to be officially announced. No word on pricing yet.
