OUYA, the $99 Android game console which could, has announced their plans to expand retail availability of their product in Europe. In the first wave, a couple of countries in Western Europe will begin selling OUYA in retail stores for a price of €99 or lesser. The list of countries includes Italy, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Sweden, Finland, Austria, Germany, France, Switzerland, Spain, Belgium, Denmark and Norway.
A quick recap, OUYA (Oh-Yeah) is a $99 game console that runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and is powered by NVIDIA's aged Tegra 3 quad-core SoC with a 12-core GeForce ULP GPU inside. All games available in the online store is a try-before-you-buy, so you can try out a game and see how it runs before actually paying a penny.
