Survarium, a free-to-play massively multiplayer online shooter being developed by former Stalker 2 developers, has gotten a new trailer which showcases the game's detailed renderings of the environment which is about a post-apocalypse world after a catastrophe on Earth.
The game's official site describes the game as;
Survarium is a free2play MMOFPS game set in the near future. The game focuses on the aftermath of a massive ecological catastrophe on Earth, the reasons behind which are only vaguely known.
Impassable woods advance onto cities from every side, as maddened animals and birds attack industrial complexes, military structures, warehouses and power-plants. Strange plants and mushrooms grow through concrete and steel. Scientists all over the world haplessly try to cope with the anomaly expanding with terrifying speed across the planet. Countries collapse; anarchy spreads throughout the world. Now force dictates who can survive.
The game is currently in an alpha testing phase, and if you think it looks interesting you can sign-up to participate here. The game's FAQ states that the game is set to launch at the end of 2013 in ex-USSR territories with an international release sometime in 2014. That seems a little optimistic (at least for the ex-USSR territories) given that it is still in alpha testing and is supposed to go through a beta testing phase yet this year, but if all is going well, a short beta test period is not uncommon.
