Google To Bring Chrome OS Design To Windows 8

Google has always had big plans for Chrome. The world's most popular internet browser crossed a huge milestone when Google decided to package web apps into the latest version of the Chrome browser. But that's not the end. The next version will take it one step further.

The latest developer version of Chrome when launched in Windows 8 Metro Mode will open to a design that is very similar to the Chrome OS interface, down to the app tray as well a the multi-window implementation. The Chrome app launcher is also integrated into the taskbar (told you, Chrome OS style). For those who are hurrying over to install the developer version right now, keep in mind that the current build is bug-ridden.
