Although Xiaomi, one of the better Chinese phone makers, announced their next-generation flagship Smartphone with every ounce of energy and excitement, the device didn't exactly make it to retail channels. The Xiaomi Mi3 will be finally launched on October 15. But sadly, only the NVIDIA Tegra 4 equipped variant will be available first, and exclusively for China Mobile's TD-SCDMA 3G network only (doesn't support other carrier's networks).
Xiaomi had also announced a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM8974AB equipped Mi3, which is slightly different from the present MSM8974 by being faster (higher clocked GPU, more memory bandwidth) than the latter. At present, the Xiaomi Mi3 is the only handset to have been announced using the new Snapdragon 800 chipset, which probably won't make it to the market before the end of this year, or perhaps in Q1 2014.
