Mad Catz Announces Android Powered Game Console, Shipping In December For $250

Mad Catz has officially announced their very own Android powered microconsole. This new entrant to the growing number of gaming oriented consoles running on Google's platform is dubbed M.O.J.O. and will begin shipping in December (10th) with (a steep) $250 price tag.

Mad Catz's M.O.J.O. is powered by NVIDIA's Tegra 4 SoC which features a quad-core ARM Cortex A15 based CPU and a 72-core GeForce ULP GPU (much more powerful than the Tegra 3 SoC in OUYA). There's 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of expandable storage, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box. You can hook up M.O.J.O to your HDTV using the 1080p out HDMI port. How much does this amount of pure awesomeness cost? $250 with a single C.T.R.L.R. controller thrown into the bundle. The controller can also be paired with a range of compatible Android devices.
