One of the most anticipated smartphones got another hearsay. Replying to a query about the launch date of Galaxy S IV, Samsung Lebanon said the Galaxy S IV will not be released before May 2013. With now confirmed launch, we doubt that Samsung will unveil early versions of the Galaxy S IV at CES 2013 as the previous reports said.
Rumours are all over the place suggesting the device will have an unbreakable screen. Some of them went even further, stating that Samsung will eventually go for unbreakable and flexible displays. Other indications are that the S IV will have a bigger and better display, 2.0 GHz quad-core Exynos 5450 processor and a 13-megapixels camera. However, Sam Mobile allegedly pictured the Galaxy S IV smartphone. From what we can see, there won't be a physical home button.
There is still no confirmation on the specifications, but a smartphone with specs listed below looks pretty desirable.
- Exynos 5450 Quad-Core CPU clocked at 2.0 GHz
- Mali-T658 GPU
- 2 GB of RAM
- 5.0" Super AMOLED display with full HD resolution (1080×1920)
- 13-megapixel BSI rear facing camera
- 2-megapixel front facing camera
- Android 4.2.1 "Jelly Bean"
