Retailers Adjusting For Watch Dogs Delay

With the announcement yesterday that the release date for Ubisoft's game, Watch Dogs, has been delayed, retailers are scrambling to keep people updated who have pre-ordered a PlayStation 4 with the "Watch Dogs Bundle" on just what exactly is going to happen with them.

After trying to convince people to upgrade to the Watch Dogs bundle, retailers are in the unenvious position of having to contact them with the bad news. Several retailers have already made plans to either offer an alternative game in the bundle (perhaps Assassin's Creed 4) or allow players to keep the existing bundle and receive Watch Dogs whenever it is released. The other option would be to just leave out the game and reduce the price.

Amazon has told customers that, "All orders for the Watch Dogs PlayStation 4 bundle will keep their place in line and we will fulfill the PlayStation 4 (without the Watch Dogs game) in accordance with your current delivery estimate."
