Barely a month after the Galaxy Note 3 was unveiled, rumors regarding Samsung's next-generation Smartphone came alive. All at once, the web came alive with Galaxy S5 rumors, with many reports suggesting that the device will be launched as soon as January next year. The reason behind speeding up the roadmap is the slumping sales of the Galaxy S4, which is far away from the sales target that had been set by Samsung.
The latest rumor, after those which talked about a 14nm 64-bit Exynos 6 chipset and 16 MP OIS camera, says that the Galaxy S5 will be IP5x certified. Meaning, the device will be ready to face mother nature right from out-of-the-box. Expect both water and dust resistance to make it to the final Galaxy S5, if this rumor turns out to be true.
