Samsung has acknowledged the authenticity of swollen batteries being a genuine issue with affected Galaxy S4 Smartphones and has thus announced that the company will be replacing the battery of all affected users free of cost. We didn't expect anything less from the Korean world leader. The issue reportedly affects around 30% of all Galaxy S4 users, which is a significantly large number (that's going to hurt their balance sheet).
We are aware of this issue, which has affected a limited number of customers. We ask all affected customers to please visit their nearest Samsung Electronics service centre, where they can receive a replacement battery for free of charge.
