Following the announcement of the positively humongous HTC One Max phablet, the Taiwanese phone maker has announced the newest entrant to the Desire series of mid-range Smartphones. Residents of China, say hello to the new HTC Desire 709d, which features a 5-inch qHD (960 x 540) Super LCD2 display. Powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 200 quad-core chipset (1.2 GHz ARM Cortex A5 and Adreno 203 GPU), the Desire 709d is backed up by 1 GB of RAM, an 8 MP rear camera with Full HD video recording, 2.1 MP front snapper, 8 GB of expandable storage, 2,100 mAh battery and Android Jelly Bean to top it off.
No word on expected pricing and availability as of yet.
