After LG unveiled that the company has commenced production of industry's first flexible battery designed for Smartphones, Samsung has come out with their own solution, which the company demoed recently at the Korea Energy Show 2013 (the expo is still going on). The prototypes shown-off by Samsung at the expo are non-flammable solid state batteries (meaning, a non-liquid electrolyte is being used). Also, the flexible battery is indestructible (which makes sense, since it is flexible after all). Not only can you twist and bend them, but also stack them on top of each other to achieve even higher energy densities. Now that's something eh?
