T-Mobile today announced the new Samsung Galaxy Light as an addition to it's entry-level 4G handsets lineup. The Galaxy Light packs a 4-inch WVGA (800 x 480) display that is powered by a 1.4 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 SoC, 1 GB of RAM and a 5 MP rear camera. Not only does the device look very similar to yesteryear's Galaxy S3 Mini mashed up with 2013's Galaxy S4 Mini, but it also features specifications that are a mix of both the devices.
The Galaxy Light comes with 8 GB of expandable storage, an 1800 mAh battery and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box. There's no word on its pricing, as of yet, but we expect it to go for free with your usual two-year commitment.
